Frank J. Ancharski

Originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, Frank received his B.S. in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University. He went on to receive his master’s of science in Health and Fitness Management from the American University in Washington, D.C. A chapter author for the American College of Sports Medicine’s (ACSM) Certification Resource Guide, Frank is certified as a Health/Fitness Director and Exercise Test Technologist through ACSM and as an examiner and exam designer for the H/F Director Certification. He sat on the Medical Fitness Associations’ (MFA) Education Committee and is a certified MFA Facility Examiner along with Co-Chairing the Sponsorship Committee with the American College of Health Care Executives North Carolina branch, (T.H.E.F.).
Currently, he serves on IHRSA’s Headlight Committees for both Facility Standards & Membership.
Frank’s vast array of experience within the health and fitness industry spans over 30 years including three start-up companies in the club & medical fitness side of the industry. Some produced extraordinary results such as opening the 23,000 member, 275 team member, $16 million revenue, 43% EBITDA producing Life Time Fitness in Cary, NC. He has been Founder & Chief Coaching Officer of Club Coach Services since 2003. A domestic & international presenter for IHRSA & the IHRSA Institute, Frank is an alumni presenter for NERSA, CCD & MACMA as well. Father to Kyle, Frank and his wife and college sweetheart Judy, both proud Penn State Alumni, reside in Chapel Hill, NC on “Tobacco Road”.
