It’s hard to believe that 20 years has passed since our world changed on 9/11/01.  As we “Remember” where we were on that fateful day, let’s especially “Honor” those lives and families impacted that day and since, especially first responders and those who served.  And may we all heed the advice & find solace in a quote below from President Obama, from his weekly address ahead of the 10 year anniversary.  Please remember his encouragement to summon that prideful, human spirit felt in the weeks that followed.  May this time in our history and going forward  “NOT be a fleeting moment, but rather a lasting virtue”.

“Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost; a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11.” ― Barack Obama
